Oriient New Media Ltd. (“Oriient“, “we“, “our” or “us“) is committed to your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and share information when you visit our website at www.oriient.me, or any subdomain we operate for a specific campaign or landing page (together, the “Website“), submit a form, subscribe to our updates, or otherwise contact us.
This policy applies to everyone who uses the Website, including prospective customers, developers evaluating our SDK, partners, and job applicants.

Our Website Terms of Use are available at www.oriient.me/website-terms-of-use. This Privacy Policy stands on its own and does not depend on your acceptance of those terms.
1. Who is responsible for your information

2. What information we collect
2.1 Information you give us
- Form submissions. When you complete a form on the Website — including our general contact form and any campaign landing page we run on a Website subdomain — we collect the details you enter: name, email address, company name, role, and any free-text message.
- Subscriptions. If you sign up for updates, we collect your email address and any other details you provide.
- Correspondence. If you email or otherwise contact us, we collect the content of that correspondence and your contact details.
- Account and payment information for developers and customers using our SDK and Services, such as user name, email address, company name, and password. Payments made through a third-party provider are subject to that provider’s privacy practices.
2.2 Information we collect automatically
When you use the Website, we and our service providers collect:
- Internet Protocol (IP) address, HTTP header information, browser type and version, operating system, and device type.
- Pages viewed, time spent on pages, referring URL, and the links you click.
- Information collected through cookies and similar technologies. These are set only in accordance with your choices, as described in section 4 below.
We do not collect special category data (such as health, biometric, or political data) through the Website, and we ask that you do not submit it to us.

These providers act under written agreements that require them to process information only on our instructions and to keep it secure.

- Authorities or third parties where we have a good faith belief that disclosure is helpful or reasonably necessary to: comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request; enforce our policies, including investigations of potential violations; investigate, detect, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud or security issues; establish or defend legal claims; or prevent harm to the rights, property or safety of Oriient, our users, or any third party.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
We may use or share anonymous and aggregated information, which does not identify any individual, for any purpose. If we combine anonymous information with personal information, the combined information is treated as personal information for as long as it remains combined.
6. International transfers
Oriient is based in Israel, and information we collect is transferred to and processed in Israel.
The European Commission has decided that Israel provides an adequate level of protection for personal data. That decision was first adopted in 2011 and was reaffirmed by the Commission on 15 January 2024 following a formal review. This means that personal data can be transferred from the European Economic Area to Oriient in Israel without additional safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Our service provider HubSpot, Inc. processes information in the United States. HubSpot is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and its UK and Swiss extensions, which the European Commission and the UK government recognize as providing an adequate level of protection for that transfer — no separate Standard Contractual Clauses are needed for data handled under that certification.
Where any other service provider processes information outside the EEA or the UK in a country without an adequacy decision, that transfer is covered by an appropriate safeguard, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses together with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. 7. How long we keep your information

8. Your rights
Where the EU GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you, and receive a copy.
- Rectify information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erase your information in certain circumstances.
- Restrict how we use your information in certain circumstances.
- Object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Where you object to direct marketing, we will stop, with no exceptions.
- Portability, meaning you can ask us to provide information you gave us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, or to send it to another organisation where technically feasible.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent. You can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email, change your cookie settings through the cookie banner, or email us.
- Complain to a supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@oriient.me. We will respond within one month. We may ask you to verify your identity before we act on a request. We do not charge a fee, unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to:
- In the UK: the Information Commissioner’s Office, at ico.org.uk.
- In the EU: the data protection authority in the country where you live or work. A list is published by the European Data Protection Board at edpb.europa.eu.
- In Israel: the Privacy Protection Authority, at gov.il.

9. Automated decision-making
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects.
10. Security
We follow generally accepted industry standards, including the use of appropriate administrative, physical and technical safeguards, to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, and no method of electronic storage, is completely secure. While we use commercially acceptable means to protect the information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security or confidentiality. 11. Children’s privacy
The Website is intended for business users. We do not direct the Website at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 16. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 16, we will delete it as promptly as possible. If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided us with information, they should contact us at info@oriient.me.
12. Third-party links
The Website contains links to other sites. If you click a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. These sites are not operated by us, and we have no control over and assume no responsibility for their content, privacy policies, or practices. We recommend you review the privacy policy of any site you visit.
13. Merger, sale or bankruptcy
If we are acquired by or merged with another entity, or in the event of bankruptcy or a comparable event, we reserve the right to transfer or assign information, including personal information, in connection with that event. In that case, the acquiring company will assume the rights and obligations described in this Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to this policy
We may revise or update this Privacy Policy. When we make a material change, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top and, where required, notify you directly. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
