Oriient Indoor GPS in Sonae / Continente Stores

We are honored to assist Sonae with digitizing Continente stores and enhancing the customer experience with Indoor GPS.

Now their shoppers can enjoy a relaxed journey in which they can easily find and pick up products on their shopping list using Oriient in-store navigation, as well as experience the convenience of personalized offerings sent straight to their smartphone as they view a product’s shelf.

The app “Continente Labs – find” is available on App Store and Google Play, serving both Continente Bom Dia Asprela supermarket and Continente Matosinhos hypermarket of ~10,000 square meters in size.

Sonae MC is the leading food retailer in Portugal, with over 1,200 hypermarkets, supermarkets, and convenience stores across Portugal and Spain.
Oriient is helping to increase loyalty, recover lost revenues due to unfound products, up-sell with proximity-based promotions, recipe search and gamification, as well as gain valuable data on shoppers’ behavior.
